Tierra Vida Farm

HEALTHY SOIL, HEALTHY FOOD, HEALTHY PEOPLE
We are taking a sabbatical from the CSA in 2023.
We are focusing on growing inside greenhouses during the fall, winter, and spring.
You can find our eggs and produce at the James Ranch Market and Durango Natural Foods Coop.
Thanks for your understanding and we look forward to continuing to serve you.

Does the farm use pesticides?

In a word: NO

We don't want to eat food laced with synthetic fertilizers or pesticides and of course neither do you. Synthetics damage the soil by killing off the biology; limiting plant health, human health, and nutrition.

Regenerative Agriculture:

We do employ a variety of biologically integrated methods to improve soil quality, nutrition, and productivity.  All methods go beyond what is required for organic certification for a truly comprehensive approach. To learn more click here.

Growing Practices At Tierra Vida Farm

Where are we located?

We are located on the Florida River between Durango and Bayfield which allows us to provide the freshest food possible to our community. Staying connected, knowing your farmer, and building relationships are a few benefits of choosing local food.
